About Me

Hi, my name is Mark Allen Felton, and I’ve been making my Mark (pun intended) on the world now for several years. I am a musician, author, composer, producer, speaker, among many other things. 🙂
I began playing bugle at the tender age of nine and switched to saxophone at age eleven. While growing up in Chicago IL, I drew upon a wealth of influences from Jazz to Gospel. I pretty much honed my musical skills while playing in clubs in the Los Angeles area and by appearing in videos by Ed OG & the Bulldogs, Tony! Toni! Toné!, among others and touring with Ray Parker Jr. (Ghostbuster Fame).

I produced my first of five solo CDs “On The Prowl” in 1994 and went on to share the stage with many artists including: Al Jarreau, Oleta Adams, Patti Labelle, Chaka Khan, Kenny G., Kirk Whalum, Dave Koz, Billy Preston, Marcus Miller, Lalah Hathaway, Jeffrey Osbourne, Mary, Mary, Donnie McClurkin, Michelle Williams of Destiny’s Child, gospel legends Shirley Caesar, Edwin Hawkins, Bobby Jones, Helen Baylor, Karen Clarke- Sheard, Kim Burrell, Al Jarreau, Oleta Adams, Patti Labelle, Jeffrey Osbourne, and many others.

I am a self published author and have written 3 books and well over 100 songs. Over the years I have received numerous awards for my musical endeavors and have appeared in front of millions on various television networks including BET, TBN, The Word Network, etc. I currently host my own show Sunday Night Sax! on Facebook Live every Sunday at 7 PM Pacific time and I reside in Southern California.

I am a firm believer that we should all be making our mark in this world as we all have something to contribute. Whatever you were put here to do, you should be doing it! My hope is to inspire you on your magnificent journey!
